Anyone get too excited during your classes and break someone's arm during defensive training?
That's definitely happened.
and has been like that since Depot opened - usually, broken noses, dislocated shoulders, snapped ankles, etc.
.
Broken dreams, too.

It's an amazing province. Coming from Vancouver, BC and going to a town in Northern Saskatchewan, couldn't be happier!

Hopefuls, applicants, and Cadets: take note of the above enthusiastic commentary.

I FULLY EXPECT, however, any RM that comes to Crocus to contact me, otherwise I will find you and wag a disgruntled finger at you! Whether or not you can break my posting longevity record here is a whole 'nuther challenge.

Ride along

Postby MBSK » Sat Nov 28, 2020 4:06 pm

Hey there,

Does anyone have information regarding ride-along’s in Regina/Southern Sask at the moment? I’m currently in the med/psych stage, curious if there’s any opportunity to do a ride-along in the new year, or if they are even currently running them at all.

Thanks!

Step 1: make it so no other detachment wants to take you.

Less in the past 5 years or so than the ten before that. As you can see, the private forums aren’t what they once were.

What is the policy for consuming booze on days off taking in considerarion that members could get called for emergencies ? Not talking about pot even if it's legalized, not just because you have to be pot free for 28 days but it was never my thing and never will be. However, I do enjoy few beers sometimes on my days off and I always wondered about this !! If sobriety is an expectation at all time .. then I may consider quitting drinking .

Just spit balling here. Probably depends if you're on call or not. Which probably depends on the size of the detachment. Interesting question though.
