Car Seat Covers

Postby allbrancereal » Thu Feb 04, 2016 12:13 pm

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has any advice to offer. I just purchased a 2016 Mazda CX-5 GS (Touring) and I want to put some car seat covers in there. Those custom fitted ones are pretty darn expensive. Anyone tried universal fitting ones? Recommendations for a Canadian retailer?

Thanks

I've seen some nice looking ones at Canadian Tire and Walmart.
Read the user reviews on their website as some are great and others... not so much. Maybe check Amazon too.

I purchased a set of "universal" seat covers for my winter beater Durango as the heated driver's leather seat had quit working. Garbage. Stayed in place for about 3 months, now the bottom portion goes where it wants. Always fighting to put it back in place.

Had this in an older car. I had them dyed to match the interior as well.

No links allowed - Pete BROCCOLO, Mod Extraordinaire

Vancouver company. Ships in about 2-3 weeks. We use their vinyl covers for some public safety vehicles who don't want/need a hard plastic seat but want some form of protection so their seats don't get dirty.

There are a couple places, you can buy from Walmart or Canadian Tire.

Shear Comfort and Pro Truck Toys are two canadian websites that have good deals.

Also, Ebay has a crazy load of seat covers.

Honestly,

If you want high end then Katzkin seat covers... Very High Quality.

If you want just basic quality and half decent.

There is a guy on Ebay I believe his name is Iggy Leather Customs or something and he makes synthetic leather seat covers.

I had made a family member of mine purchase it for his convertible and it lasted him over 9 years and now he is re purchasing another set.

Definitely try XXXXX, a new site that I bought some covers for my bucket seats of my F250.

Custom fit, and cheaper than most on the market today.

Edited by moderator to remove the name of the company, but it rhymes with Promaster parts. (In fact, it IS Promaster parts.) Booted for deceptive marketing practices.

Really? I am not sure why you bought parts from your own company??

Just kidding.

This is called deceptive marketing when you come on an internet forum to pretend to be a buyer when you are actually the seller.

Why couldn't you have simply come in here and talk about your seat covers without providing any links or without trying to deceive people? To be kicked off a law enforcement forum must be almost as embarrassing as thinking you could actually DECEIVE people on a law enforcement forum.

That dog has a puffy tail!

If anyone knows of the best material for use with a muddy dog, let me know.
