Cricket Canada

I can't imagine Cricket being played in Canada, given that it is not played on ice.

OK, give me a minute and I'll grab my coat on the way out.

Ridley College in St Catharines ON had teams in early 1970s when I attended another High School, because a classmate originally from Sri Lanka played for RC.

Toronto and Peel have a lot of cricket fields, both professional looking ones and in parks for kids where you would traditionally expect a ball diamond. In Brampton I've seen more people playing cricket than baseball or soccer.

Cricket is picking up in North America. The US have a newly established competition (not sure how coviddy has affected it though) and Canada hosts an international T20 comp. (In Toronto i believe) as an Aussie i look forward to more cricket being played in my time zone

Good luck with the cricket Bman86, how are you settling in Canada, did you undergo much of a cultural shock, I guess the weather would be a big change as in winter.
