Although RIGUAD isn't known for being overly physical compared to DEPOT per say, a good bench mark to aim for in the law enforcement community is 2.4k or a 1.5 miles in 12 minutes or less, and 5k in 30 mins.

If you can obtain those goals before training starts you'll be in a good place. The PARE is no joke, as you know going through the application process, and it only steps up from there. The PARE as hard as it is, I would also argue is one of the easier tests in comparison to many municipal LEO departments.
The 1.5M run/PARE test is included in the CDT test? I thought that was only for actual BSO's and not student positions.
They said that CDT is not supposed to make you sweat, especially because of COVID. Take this for what it's worth.

Gotcha, yeah I doubt the PARE/1.5M Run will be on it.

My application status for the SBSO position changed to "Qualified but not hired" on the Government of Canada jobs website. Does anyone know if this means I have to reapply when the competition reopens for summer 2022?

I will email Student Recruitment about this too.

I think you should email them, was your application moved to next year?
