I did YVR too, when they first told me about my conditional offer they said 1 day guaranteed and maybe 1 other day and haven't said anything else since, I was going to ask I'm assuming its the same? It depends on covid, covids why hours are so lowhouseWagon wrote: ↑Wed Apr 14, 2021 8:29 amDid you get any updates on your work hours? If you're getting part time I don't think I'm getting a position this summer.
EDIT: I believe I interviewed for the YVR position.
That's awesome and very true. See i am in school to get a degree in socio and then was thinking about pursuing law. So i'm very conflicted because of lack of hours/pay/having to move to do it this year but it is great experience and opportunity.houseWagon wrote: ↑Wed Apr 14, 2021 8:27 amLike me, I'm currently doing a Bachelor of Education to become a teacher.
I want the SBSO position to get more experience dealing with difficult people and uncomfortable situations. I'm hoping the experience will help me stand out when I interview for teaching jobs.
is anyone placed into hamilton international airport? the CBSA did confirm with me that we are to find our own accommodations and i’m struggling to find a place that has access to easy transit to the airport... if anyone has some solutions im happy to hear from you!
Not training in BC but yes, I believe you would have to pass it because were on a conditional offer right now, getting an actual offer would depend on if you pass the training or not.
hope this helps.
