Has anyone who has applied in JUNE 2022 for the 008 process receive their security clearance or integrity interview date?

This seems odd but i've noticed that those who applied in JULY 2022 for the same process have been going faster through the timeline.

I got my security invite September 12 and I submitted documents and fingerprints September 14. They told me to look out for an email from the security analyst and made sure that I check spam/junk folder. The standard they told me is 100 business days to process. So I’m waiting to see what happens.

Ah brutal timeline, have you heard anything about your invite? I’m pretty sure the -3 denotes bilingual imperative, I wonder how many we are.

It’s truly baffling how different the recruitment process can be for different candidates. I got my security clearance in 24 hours and I got one of those tease non invites to start training Aug 21st. Now that that’s come and gone, I’m going to have to repeat my French tests.

I went from the high high of being done all my steps and waiting for my invite to the low low of “wow, I can’t believe I’m 2.5 years in and now waiting to repeat steps I’ve already passed”. Good luck to you, I hope things speed up for you.

I would guess the next intake would be February or March. The upcoming class ends in February.

I guess they still have 2 more intakes before March 2024. Let’s see when they plan those.

Well in a surprise turn of events I’m through the process. I have to redo my PARE and my medical is going to expire in October but I have a few questions for anyone in the know.

Is it possible to receive an offer for December if the medical expires before that but everything else is completed?

When are new hires given their PoE, is it with the offer letter?

Someone mentioned $150 for the allowance, and I also saw someone mention it starts during the online training. Are both of these statements true?

Well it happened, I got my formal invitation yesterday. Still kind of reeling from the whiplash between the disappointment and elation. I gave notice at my current job that I’ve been at for 15 years, it barely feels real. I’m starting online October 16th and I’m starting in Rigaud November 14. So stoked!
