Any idea when they will open the 009 pool? I have seen they open the CBSA SBSO, however I don't fall in the requirements.

If not, are you from Ontario? Curious if they are placing a lot of out of province applicants there with the new bridge opening.

I applied July last year for Canada wide!
I’m from the GTA. I put everywhere in Canada except Toronto & Niagara Region for preferences when I applied.
I was really hoping for Saskatchewan but I am just happy to be going to OITP/Rigaud.

I had heard October was a mainly Windsor posting so I anticipated this.

I didn't think that original preference list meant anything. I had a friend that was hired 5 years ago and he said they gave him the same survey and then they picked their ports through a selection process in Rigaud. I put every area of Canada down as I thought it was a prerequisite to apply..l. I guess I'll find out soon enough lol!

I applied for Selection 008 which is not a port specific and I am from Ontario.

Yea I'm not sure. In the email they mentioned picking from the information provided on the duty placement survey which I am assuming are the port selection when I applied as i did not get any survey.

And when I did that I excluded Quebec and the territories from my selection.

I know they used to assign ports at the end of Rigaud but now they are doing it at the beginning. My assumption is being not to waste time and spots on people who would decline.

I have my integrity interview tomorrow morning. Considering I submitted my documents August 4, that feels pretty quick. I see a couple people got invited for October, I’m just wondering if their clearances were granted, or if they got the invite without the confirmation? I did get the availability confirmation email as well.

I got my security clearance in August about 1-1.5 weeks after my integrity interview.
