Hey guys!
I completed the integrity interview back on October 16th and so far it’s been radio silence since. Do you guys recommend reaching out to the recruitment team to check in or just waiting it out?
From the other posts I’ve read it doesn’t seem that many applicants have waited this long for results...
I did my interview back in August and found out 14 days later that I passed. One of my co-workers who did his interview the very next day, still has not heard anything about passing. He has called and emailed recruiting multiple times and they still can't seem to give him an answer.

First thing, the person is a co-worker.

How much do you trust this person ?

Maybe he failed and they are just saying this.

Hard to imagine CBSA giving them the run around.

But hey, it is the government and anything can happen lol

I hope Santa brings me an invitation to Rigaud in a form of an email sent by CBSA, haha. Covid-19 may be preventing us from spending time with family and friends but I hope it's not keeping you from enjoying the moment! Merry Christmas ya'll and Happy Holidays.

Just as a refresher, does anyone remember the frequency that they do intakes? Like the January one is done, will they have another in Feb, again in March and April, then break for a few months?

I think that's typically how most years went. Even last year until recruits were sent home. I'm not so sure 2021 will be the same. With 15D from last year not starting until the end of January this year, I don't foresee a February intake. I'm fairly certain invites would have already gone out for that too if there was. Of course this is just all speculation.

Just to give everyone an update, I emailed recruitment the other day to see if I could get any information on future intakes. Their response follows:

"It is hard to provide a timeline of the next intakes as we are waiting to receive the official dates. Please note that we have delays in all our assessments due to the pandemic.

Rest assure, your candidacy remains active.

As soon as we will receive more information, we will communicate with you."

Thanks for the helpful answers guys! I decided to email the recruitment team and they got back to me pretty quickly, turns out I was granted security clearance back on October 23rd and just didn’t receive any notification of it. They did however mention that because I don’t have my pare test completed yet that could be the reason I didn’t receive any further emails from them.

Can someone from 15D confirm if the recent curfew restrictions in Quebec has any effect on their training starting this month ? Has it been postponed or moving forward as planned ?

I'm surprised you haven't received a invite yet considering your time. Wondering if anyone else in that class can shed some light.

Hello,
I am currently a rookie fishery officer for DFO and I received a deferral invite interest update from cbsa OITP after 5 years of waiting. I got a bunch of flashbacks from checking my e-mail 50 times a day for all those years!!! hahaha Dont put your life on hold during the recruitment process.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows if experienced law enforcement officers are exempt from certain parts of OITP or is it the whole 16 weeks at Rigaud.

Thanks

To my knowledge you are not exempt from any portion of the in residence portion.

Yes, a person of Health Canada will review your file and sign it. Leave it blank.
Is it only two pages that need to be sent back. Am I reading that right ??
I will PM you.
Hey I also recently received that email but they only sent it to me in French and I can not open the 3312 form. I have asked for an English version and a resend of the first page of the 3312 but I'm not sure how fast they will be to reply. Can you send me those pdfs if possible? Thanks in advance!

I also received that email yesterday. And also experienced the same issues. Recruitment replied back with an English version of the self declaration but not the 3312 form. Hoping they email back tomorrow with it as the deadline to return the forms is early next week for me.

Hi All,
I had the same questions you had. Wondering why they only sent the self declaration form in French. But after playing around with the form 3312 pdf file noticed that when you check for English and print the 3rd page suddenly populates automatically and contains the self declaration in English. Anyways I sent it like that hopefully it is correct.
Good luck all.

Hi Everybody
I just received the email to complete my Security Clearance and when I fill out my parents DOB it keeps asking me to put in a valid date no matter what format I put the date in. Has anyone else had this issue?
