Toronto Arson Task Force

Postby jim7966 » Fri Jan 27, 2012 6:38 pm

The Toronto Arson task Force is currently seeking input on possible topics for this years seminar.

In November we held a seminar on the Psychology of a Fire Setter which seemed to be well received.

So if anyone has any ideas or suggestions feel free to reply.

Thanks

Im getting my provincial designation as a certified fire investigator.

I would like to see a seminar on investigating vehicle fires. Both arson and non suspicious fires.

Thanks for the idea. I will bring that up. No promises obviously.

Vehicle fires can be very tricky. Especially if you don't do alot of them.

I'm assuming you are in Ontario if you are interested in a seminar in Toronto.

I'm just curious what you mean by a provincial designation. Never heard of that.

Thanks

Im in Alberta. Im working with the Fire Investigators Association of Alberta in becoming a certified fire investigator. The FIAA is working with International Association of Arson Investigators in putting together a program to certify fire investigators. Im taking courses with them.

Im interested in any seminars in Canada that will help me become a better fire investigator.
