Re: C46

Hi, guys. I am a law lover. When I read the C46, I have been confused by the some upper case letters. For example, I do not know what do the letters stand for, such as A.B. and C.D. in FORM 1, E.F. in FORM 16, M.N. and X.Y. in FORM 31 and X.Y in FORM 41? If someone knows the abbreviations, please l...

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

Hello. Does anyone know if the Covid vaccine will be mandatory to attend depot? I have to give a list of my immunizations, and in the faq it says having the vaccine is not required...but is that just for the application? Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer. Keep in mind a couple of points. (...

there are other careers that might be a better fit.
This.

A student loan in collections and a bad driving record at 37 does not display the level of maturity they might have been looking for.

Keep trying.

Re: Applicant / Specific Question MHA

Sorry. This is not an "ask-a-cop" forum. No one here can deal with individual circumstances. All you can do is apply and find out. No one can answer that question for you. You have told us one side of a story. Be honest with your recruiters. They know their jobs. Will this affect your application? O...

Re: Ask the CBSA!

1) You do not need a PAL for CBSA. You need the CFSC and CRFSC courses before you can start training. Years ago, they were provided for CBSA recruits at Rigaud, but no longer. Consider the $200 or so to be a cheap investment in your future and a great way to learn lifetime safety skills. Don't consi...

Re: Ontario Correctional Services

Grammar and spelling; not just for high school anymore. :D :D One bares arms by wearing short-sleeved shirts. One bears arms by carrying weapons. One arms bears by giving guns to bears. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. Except for bears. Bears will kill you. Especially bears with guns.

Re: Ontario Correctional Services

Just some small conversation. Out of curiosity, anyone know the reasoning provincial corrections has never been able to bare arms unlike federally? Was it abused back in the day or just never seen the need for it I wonder? The right to wear short-sleeved shirts? I always thought they could wear sho...

Re: Calgary Police Service

Condolences to all his friends, family and colleagues from all the staff and members of Blue Line Magazine forums.

If I remember correctly, Andrew Harnett was formerly Military Police. I believe he was on the Thunderbird Challenge team and was in my pistol course. Outstanding officer.

Rest in Peace.

Re: RCMP APPLICANT GENERAL CHIT CHAT

No one wants a recruit to fail. Your instructors will always be your best resource. Some recruits come in with a little experience with firearms; some come in with a lot; and some come in with zero. It doesn't matter. It's not previous skills that will decide who passes and who fails - it is ATTITUD...

The question has been asked and answered. Next question.

Let me reinforce what Pete has said. This is NOT an "ask an applicant" thread. The ONLY people who can respond to questions in this thread are RMs, recruiters, moderators and admins.

Re: *** ASK AN ONTARIO RCMP RECRUITER ***

FYI, Mexico has three times the population of Canada, but four times the number of cases ... and most importantly, NINE TIMES THE NUMBER OF DEATHS. Allow me to be less polite that my friend Imran. This is an incredibly selfish thing to do right now. It's not just self-isolating when you get home. Ho...

Re: Will travelling during covid affect the outlook on my process?

#1 - No need to cross-post. You asked the question and got an answer. #2 - Just because you didn't get the answer you wanted, there is no need to keep asking the question on multiple forums. #3 - Why are you relying on information from fellow applicants? No one can say for certain. #4 - When you hav...

I heard there was supposed to be a posting last Friday but nothing yet. I, unfortunately, had to leave the Sheriff's in 2016 but now I'm patiently waiting to apply again. Now since I'm no longer in Fort Mac I should figure out how to change my user name lol
PM me with your desired user name.
