I competed in a competition this weekend at Crossfit Toronto. I came tied for 2nd. I was totally pumped. It was nice to compete against people at my skill level - which is what I would say slightly better than average. I'm not at regional levels yet, but I'm doing pretty well these days. Been Crossf...

I pr'd my 3RM and 1RM squats today. 3RM = 320#, 1RM = 355#.

My box had their annual "Fran"tastic chirstmas WOD.

Pr'd today at 3:41. I really wish I could butterfly kip, I'd be sub 3 for sure. I did it all as kipping pull ups. Man those thrusters are feeling so much lighter these days!

Deads are easy, the HSPU suck after round 1. I just need to work on the HSPU endurance I guess.

yesterday myself and a few others from my gym competed in the Element Open Team Challenge. We were in the recreation division (there was a competative division as well). We finished 10th out of 63 teams. I Pr'd in a thruster event with a 225# 1rm. We did very well as a team. The trick to a good team...

I actually did holleyman today. As Rx'd = 30 rounds: 5 Walllballs 20#/ 3 Handstand pushups/ 1 power clean 225#. 43:33.

I went very smooth for the first 12-15 rounds, then the strict HSPU started slowing me down. My last 4 cleans were terrible but they counted. I really just wanted to finish this WOD.

I've been WOD'n around 5 days a week, but I too am lazy.

I PR'd my snatch Monday... 205#. I'm still loving it, but I sure am happy the open is over so I can go back to regular training.

Ended up with 96 burpees, disappointed I didn't get 100. I was shocked at how my hamstrings and quads were so fatigued.

Wasn't "hard", obviously it was taxing, but I'm sure it's a sign of things to come.
