Need opinions on design
I've been asked/volunteered to create a decal layout for a dept in the states, and I would like some opinions or suggestions. I've included 3 versions. Some things to keep in mind:
They would like to go with a two tone paint scheme (Black or Blue with White)
They want to keep the DUI logo that is on the rear door, but it can move to any location
Their uniforms are the standard Blue, with black striping and the patch uses gold piping with a blue background.
Version 1:
All blue, including stripes.
Version 2:
Same layout as version 1, but uses gold and black in the striping. Changed the effect on the word "police" on the door.
Version 3:
Slight change to the layout of the stripes.
Thanks everyone.

I wasn't crazy about the police lettering on the second one either, I was trying to match it up to the DUI logo, but wasn't happy with the look. I found it a little cartoonish...I've been leaning towards #3 as well but wanted to get some other opinions. I've also done the 3rd one in a black and white version too.

Yes it is different, I used a different blending mode on that one, but I wasn't sure if it made it stand out too much though...Having it stand out more though does make the message more obvious...hmmm....
Meh...
You obviously have skills- my hat is off to you.
#3 in B&W however...
I'd move the DUI to the rear quater pannel and increase the size of the "POLICE" to cover both doors. Looks a little too much like a private security company car for me.
Just my 2 cents.
