Question for the people in the January intake. It stated that once we sent in our acceptance letter we would receive an email from the Riguad college itself, I guess explaining what eccentials to bring and all that. Has anyone received that email?

LOL I don't think so. Even the military lets people keep their hair!
Most likely just need it styled/out of the way (ponytail/braids etc).

Although, it would be easy upkeep and big savings on hair products!
You did your interview in Oct too? What’s your next step? 🤩 how’s the email from CBSA?
Hey, got your msg but I couldn't reply to your PM for some reason. I just completed/passed the interview in the past week, next step is getting my CFSCs out of the way then waiting for psych. I need to do some more prep before doing the PARE, so after firearms I will wait and see when I get booked for the psych. Hopefully do PARE in the spring.

I have seen different people progress at different rates on here whether they do the PARE soon or leave it for later-sometimes it does not seem to matter at all. If I was getting a strong recommendation from CBSA/recruiter etc to do the PARE asap, I would do it as soon as I could. However, if I was in a situation (such as yourself) where booking appointments/timing was an essential part of it due to finances/work etc, then I would wait to have them together. Sometimes you have do what's best for you regardless of timelines.

Hmm interesting. They never sent me an email stating they got mine. They emailed me asking my D.O.B because I forgot to put it on my acceptance letter (so they obviously got it).

Hi everyone
I just received word that I was successful in the psych evaluation, and that I should go ahead and start the process for the security clearance.
in the email it says that we need to provide three pieces of ID, and from the list I only have 2 (my drivers license and my passport). I cant seem to find my certificate of citizenship, I wasn't born in Canada so I dont have a birth certificate here, and I never applied for my PAL or NEXUS cards, but I did do the gun safety courses.
does anyone have any insight into what my best course of action would be? I dont think I can apply for NEXUS or PAL because I would not get it in time. does anyone know if a health card would be considered a 'valid form of provincial identification'? any insight would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

Psych interview completed...fingers crossed. The pass/fail ratio does not help ease the possible outcome. Hoping for the best and to everyone else going through the process!
