Hey, For those who have completed a lfa with peel, do they make you run the shuttle after?
No. Fitness is strictly judged at the pre-board fitness exam. See below for details:

Thanks!!

Hey, I have heard otherwise and have been trying to confirm this. I have had a friend go through the process recently and post PBQ they had everyone change and run the shuttle. From what I hear there are three occasions where physical standards are checked before attending OPC; 1) PBQ 2) Pre-board Fitness 3) Pre-OPC training.

Shouldn't be a concern for anyone interested in Peel though, physical standards are held very high in this service.

Last time I did a PBQ with Peel, there was no fitness aspect to it. I suppose that things can change... but why would they make people do a fitness test right after, when fifty percent of them, if not more, will be cut at the PBQ stage regardless. Seems like a waste of everyone’s time.

If they want you to do the PREP or PIN immediately after the PBQ, they will explicitly state this in the email or phone call when they invite you to the PBQ. So you don’t really need to worry anyway. You’ll have plenty notice.

Well, I'm with Peel and have never heard that, nor did I experience that when I went through the hiring process.

Peel does the shuttle run only (no other fitness components) on the same day as PBQ. Change was made a few months ago.

Good to know, guess that answers that. I'm glad they do.

Hi everyone,

Has anyone received an email this month if they are moving on in the process? I know they had a LFA in Jan, but has anyone received an email for this month?

Good Luck! Did you have to do any fitness assessment at your LFA?

No, my LFA group didn't have to do the PREP or Shuttle after. But my friend who was in a previous LFA group did. So, I guess it depends. Keep up the training!

Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone has received an email to notify them about upcoming LFA's? For the coming months March?

Hey I got an email on March 4th, and attended LFA on March 6th. I can confirm that they asked us to be ready to run the shuttle in the afternoon, after the PBQ in the AM 6 of us were asked to return the same day for the shuttle run.

Good to hear, I wish you all the best throughout the process! When did you apply to Peel?
