Another quick one for you guys, not sure if anyone can answer:

I am entering the April class and what wondering at what point do they tell you what division you are assigned to upon graduation? I'm from montreal so need to plan on moving and getting a new place, and knowing my division would be a plus location wise.

Thanks!
Have you gone to sign your offer yet?
They explained to us at that time that divisional assignments will come the last week of training after OPC based upon organizational needs. They said they will give you 3 choices and do their best to take your living situation in to account but organizational needs come first.
Ahhh awesome good to know. I'm going in next week to sign. So I guess I'm gonna start looking for a place soon :)

Just a quick question, if anybody can help that would be amazing.
Is there anything one can work on for the psych test and interview or is it simply questions about yourself?

What are they looking for during these steps? I'm just a little excited/anxious?

Thanks all

You likely will NOT get a choice of which division you go to. All depends on PRU needs and lateral movements at the time of the turnover. You can request a division, however it’s ultimately up to the division command and needs of each division. Looking forward to getting more numbers on the road. Welcome.

Thank you :D Do new recruits starts with PRU? I thought we all started as community officers with the modernization changes

You start with PRU...you need to learn how to police first.

Community Officers/neighbourhood officers are people with time on.

Hey all, those that were lucky enough to progress, how long after the psych did you get "the call"?

You TPS folk are coming at a good time. At parade yesterday our Acting Inspector read out what you guys got in this latest contract negotiation.

The other big services are going to have to attempt to match that if they want to hold onto their members.

Sounds like it. Plenty of hires to be made as well. Large classes going to OPC

Do you know where we can find the details of this latest contract?

I had an interview in early March, but haven't heard back yet. I was hoping to have heard back already, since the April class is just around the corner.
