Yeah thats it we call it something else here I guess. I actually just got an email back saying I will be in southwest division. Ours however is only 40-80 hours for 3 credits.

I'm in the process right now, submitted my online application before Christmas. Wrote the tests at an open write in Toronto last Sept.

Headed to Edmonton in a couple of months for my testing week.

Good day everyone,

Im considering applying to EPS. Im reading the information that is required and one of the things I saw was an "excellent" credit score / History. I know the history portion is essentially your debt to income ration, how much debt your carrying etc etc.
What I'm more concerned with is what is considered "Excellent" by EPS standards. I just recently bought a new vehicle so the score dropped a few points. Im hoping to find out if anyone knows a the minimum score.

Thanks.

I don't see anywhere on the application forms or website that says one has to have "Excellent" credit rating, can you point out where that is?

I don't think there really is a minimum score, as long as your credit history is relatively good then I think it's fine.

I may have read it wrong and thought about the word excellent regarding fitness and just applied it to other factors.

I sent in my application in Sept 2018, and right now am on Stage 8. Hopefully I can get into the April class and if not then August it is.

Be ready for a tiring week. Went through it all and it is much more taxing than I anticipated. It'll be a week filled with a lot of stress but also a lot of huge highs if you keep getting through each stage. Goodluck!

That's awesome. Good luck. I have only passed the open write exam right now. I will send in my application soon too.

Did it really take that long for you to reach Stage 8? I thought they expedited the process for you out of towners.

Well the only part that they expedite for out oft owners is the first seven stages. After that they have to get through the files that are ahead and go accordingly. For me they called references that I listed and others I hadn't for the last two weeks and today just got put to the Selection Committee.

Each situation is unique. Depending on what is needed to be clarified during the background check it could take a lot longer than what most expect. For example my background check took a few months, whereas I know some of my classmates only had weeks between stage 7 and being hired for class.
Pm me if you have questions :)

Hi guys, Im going over the supporting documents and they have a supplemental vision form on APATS. Can someone correct me if I am wrong, but since I have never had corrective surgery, I dont need to get that supplemental form filled?
