Your timeline is similar to what mine was.

I had my clearance granted in August.
You can probably expect to get on mid-late October for the online portion, usually on Fridays.
Awesome!! Thanks!! I joked with my family that it was going to come on a friday haha guess it's not just me ;)
I received an e-mail to discuss my OITP candidacy in person next week.

OITP? Isn't that the online training course taken before Riguad? If so, is that unusual they would get you started on that when you haven't been granted your security clearance yet?

I wish the best of luck to current and future applicants; I am focusing on another job application right now and won't post in this forum until I am eligible to apply reapply.

I can be reached via PM if you want to contact me.

and a friendly reminder, don't PM people saying your glad they didn't pass and were deemed unsuitable, that's a prick move. Yes you know who you are.
hey JF,

Thx !

I am sure you can re-apply when the time comes, this all is a life experience, an opportunity to learn and improve, even the interaction with random people online is helpful to develop one's character, while standing up for it's principles, respectfully ;).

Keep at it , if it's supposed to happen, you will make it next time !

And as I said earlier - we may work together one day !

All the best to your future endeavors !

PS. I will not, nor I have PM messaged you about your results.

I firmly believe in anyone's chance to improve and change, and remember - there's CBSA officers that are second or third time applicants.
No it wasn't you surprisingly. For the multiple people who have PM me positive things, Thank you.

Hey guys I’m just wondering has recruitment sent you an email stating that the results of the psych expired and they need you to do it again ? They wanted me to get my pare first and then they said they will schedule the psych again.

I emailed them asking when psych expires and they told me after 2 years. I finished my psych last year and still have one more year left. I emailed them telling them starting that I still have one more year left but I never got a reply back yet.

Is this a mistake from recruitment ? Has anyone been asked to do this ?

I received the same email (about my psych expiring) before my 2 years were up. I emailed them back like you did and they got back to me saying they were mistaken. I urge everyone to keep tabs on when they completed stages, their results etc. because they do make mistakes and you dont want your application process pushed back even further!

Thanks for the response, I thought I was the only one ! So recruitment reached out to me and confirmed that I don't have to redo the psych evaluation. I did send another email to make sure they update my file, just so that the application process doesn't take any longer. I really do advice people to please pay pay attention because even recruitment can make mistakes. Imagine having to do an entire stage over again, when it wasn't even required ... :twitch:

I got my security clearance about 2 weeks ago so I'm hoping to get any intakes between January to March ! Good luck to the rest of you !

Indeed long wait, if all goes well, maybe late summer of 2020 Rigaud training. I guess ( not sure just guessing) there are 2 training waves during the year, one in January and one in August.
