I'd be interesting in hearing about the OPP team as well.

Funny how times change. When I first started shooting PPC, civilians were just being allowed to join the CPCA and had to be sponsored in by a police officer. Now It seems that I see more civilians than I do police. Most of the police I see competing are retired now. Gone are the days of the U.S.S.S sending teams up to compete or guys from the Hanford Patrol. RCMP used to have a really strong team that competed quite a bit also. Brandon, Minot, Regina Depot all used to host competitions but all have stopped as far as I am aware-really too bad because they were all really fun to go to.

Yeah... Here at home there are far more non police shooting ppc than police..
Its no big deal though as police don't own a monopoly on the game anyway. As long as somebody is shooting it its all good.

Most of the ppc I've shot has been in New York State....
Seems to be more popular/accessable down there.
Admit nothing.
Deny everything.
Make counter accusations...

Good for you. Your team would need a water boy. Youll fit right in.

Be professional and methodical. Take ownership of the situation. Look, listen and understand what is really being said and you will never have to walk away from an incident wondering if you missed something. Make every contact with the public count.

Kinda curious as to what Lights did as to deserve the water boy remark. Sounds like he is just trying to drum up some interest and there is nothing wrong with that as far as I can see. The more people interested in the shooting sports the better-just helps everyone in the long run.

Pretty sure they know each other and it's just some good spirited ribbing.

I'm more curious about why ATR hasn't responded to my PM. It's hurting my feelings. :(
