S&W 500 mag

Postby polarbear » Sun Jan 27, 2013 8:24 am

I went shooting yesterday, and a member of my club let me shoot his 500 mag revolver. All I could ask myself afterwards is what use is that thing other than to intimidate the crap out of a burglar that breaks into your house at night?

Holy hell does that thing buck!

I'm sure there's a practical application for 500 S&W out there somewhere...

Handgun hunting Cape Buffalo maybe...?

I'm not too sure it even makes a decent shiloette round... 'Good for a laugh, but yeah... Even "if" you reload it's a costly round to come up with.

I'm happy with the size of my penis so the biggest I'll go in a handgun in .45acp :D

Which are always an inch too short. 'Nuff said. :smirk:

For hunting. In jurisdictions where it's legal (not Canada).
