Every brinks detachment in canada now has the m&p .40 except for montreal. They carry some chrome s&w semi apparently.

All revolvers had to be gone by june 2012, as per the CFO. Guess he wanted all the prohibs gone.

Both Brinks and G4S are the M&P .40. Garda is the Gen 3 Glock 17 and INKAS if I can recalls is the Glock 22? I might be wrong about INKAS,someone correct me if I am.

when I worked loomis in the 90's I ran into a smal armored company in Montreal while on a run, the owner carried a Glock 21 45 acp and his wife carried a Ruger P89 9mm, they could carry what ever they liked back then. They had an employee who carried a smith 686 357 mag.

Montreal Police carry a Walther P99QA which has been discontinued. I bet they will switch to the Walther PPQ if Walther won't keep making them special runs of pistols. PPQ's look pretty sweet sorta H&K/glockish

Quebec city police, QC corrections, and all QC court specials carry the p99, to name a few.

Plus all recruits at ENPQ qualify on the p99. I doubt it's going anywhere any time soon in this province.
