But part of training was dropping the bags and getting into a firing position.

right

I thought the training was to hand the bag over and let them get away........we really want mall cops firing rounds off in public ???

I don't we would want anyone firing rounds of in a mall, guards, cops or bad guys. Besides the training we got was pretty good and had to meet the same standards as police as set out by the CFO. All of our instructors were certified at the S&W Academy.

Id say the training on pistol I got from Brinks was better than that I have received from my service.

Before you even got a job offer, you shot for five days mon-fri.

If you passed you were given the job, and then paid for the days you were there. If you failed, you were punted and sent on your way.

The drills were spot on and dealt with a lot of high stress movements.

I still find myself sometimes resorting back to revolver training when doing pistol.

It's the same way with G4S.
