M1 Garand

Postby curt101 » Tue Jan 06, 2009 1:17 am

Hi all, i am very curious as to where in Canada i can buy an M1 Garand. Ive done a little research on the net and have found plenty of ways to acquire one.... if i lived in the U.S . Just wondering if anyone knows of maybe any gun stores in their area selling these beauties or possibly a website that has them for sale? Thanks! :sniper:

check the equipment exchange on CanadianGunNutz too.

I'd be careful on CanadianGunNutz. Unless you're familiar with milsurp rifle prices, you can easily get hosed on a Garand.

Gunnutz has a couple nice ones for sale. Theres a really nice one for $1400 with alot of nice extras but even then that seems a little expensive.

I just missed this one...

We have here a Springfield M1 Garand in great shape. It is easily the most accurate rifle in my collection. It's been in the safe for 9 years and I just have a more pressing need for firearm projects I want to pursue.

Only put 100 rounds through it since I've bought it. You can see in the pics there are still signs of the cosmoline on it. (No rust)

Comes with 16 original style clips, and 220 rounds of empty brass.

If there is a local pickup I'll also through in 86 rounds of various 30-06 ammo I still have from previous rifles (Will not ship ammo). Please note you will see full power hunting ammo in the picture, but the only ammo this M1 has seen is the cheap 150 grain UMC stuff in the pictures as well.

Asking for $700.00 + shipping or local pickup. ($$$ SPF $$$)

And the dude was local!!

I had the chance to fondle a f/a Thompson in Texas! Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to fire it.

We've got a Thompson at our port... it was seized a while back and now we keep it to train newbies on (along with a crap load of other bizarre and unusually tiny guns and other weird weapons).
Did you know the word gullible isn't in the dictionary?

Maybe because we have better things to do than play Call of Duty. :smirk:
