I should add that not only am I a proud hunter ,shooter and handgun owner, I am also a hero. :D
Be professional and methodical. Take ownership of the situation. Look, listen and understand what is really being said and you will never have to walk away from an incident wondering if you missed something. Make every contact with the public count.

hahaha very funny, i am actually a hero because I saved 4 lives last year when I took out an active shooter. I've even got the medals i was awarded because of that incident. :thumbsup:

I personally did it for the money and the glory... my disappointment was tempered by the fact that I got a gun and a fast car-VanB

Nicely done, Grassy.

I think having to shoot someone (however justified) would be a horrible experience, and I genuinely hope never to be in that situation. I am sure you don't want to talk about it, but I hope you didn't have any difficulties - emotional or otherwise - after the fact.

Usually, the only ones who go around calling themselves 'heroes' are firefighters (and some doctors I know). It might be an exception in grassy's case. He's never mentioned it before on this site, and I'd be interested in knowing some of the details.
