Achim (Al) Eberhard - MTO Enforcement Officer (Retired)

Postby Respond Wayne » Tue Mar 25, 2014 6:43 pm

I wish that I had known Achim longer... I first met Achim a couple years ago when my friend Alex and I attended Easter Dinner with his family and friends, then several more times over the past couple years at various events... Achim always was very entertaining, dressed uniquely, and had this cool baby blue car... I last saw him in Hospital about a month ago, he entertained Alex and I with his harmonica, he looked well on the outside but Cancer was on the inside... Achim made it out of Hospital to enjoy his final days with his Wife Silvia.

Achim had been retired from the MTO for many years now, but I'm hoping some long serving MTO Officers on here might remember him... Achim was based in Toronto.

If anyone is interested in Silvia's celebration of Achim's life, send me a message and I'll get you in touch.

I took part in Al's celebration of life today... there were about 60 of his close friends and his Wife in attendance, some friends as far back as the late 60's when he was a Service Advisor for a VW Dealership, many friends from his Citroënvie Club, and a few MTO Members. He touched many people, he will not be forgotten anytime soon.
