I don't suffer from PTSD so I don't know how much weight my suggestion will have but I'd suggest that your partner be aware of the signs too. They can watch out for behaviour changes as well and urge you to get help before it's too late.

I earned my ptsd.

However navigating the legislation and dealing with the employer, Weibo, etc, I foresee no real major changes other than the standard of care that is required once someone is diagnosed.

I foresee payouts and medical retirements.
