I will also be joining from Grande Prairie, as well I was informed I would be flying in on the 1st, though I have yet to receive that flight confirmation. Just trying to wrap my head around all the details and everything I need to do between now and then to get as ready as possible!
Really looking forward to meeting you all and can't wait to start this new challenge.

Best Wishes to all.

My understanding of things, this is a smart idea.
Cadets find themselves renting hotels/motels/outside beds on weekends sometimes just to get out and recuperate.

Welcome aboard! Looking forward to meeting you...

I found this diary yesterday from a girl who did depo a few years back and documented the whole thing. In case anyone here missed it, this is super informative and a great read! enjoy

http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/depot/journal/index-eng.htm
"This diary documents the camaraderie among a 30-member troop, the physical and mental challenges of training and the progression from cadet to regular member of the RCMP. This cadet met those challenges head-on and now is proudly serving as a constable in the North West Region."

That was a good read. Thanks for posting. I've been trying to read anything about depot I can find or watch any YouTube clips. I'll say this it's going to be an interesting 6 months. I can't wait for it!!

Troop 6, I know your applied police science facilitators. These members were my facilitators, Count yourself among the luckiest cadets in Depot.

Congratulations. I think we are all in the same spot, all trying to learn as much as we can before we leave. Have a safe drive, see you all on the 1st.
