Syllogism??

Is that like these questions:

"All X's are Y's, and all Y's are Z's."

a) therefore all Z's are X's
b) therefore all A's are X's
c) therefore all A's are C's
d) therefore all C's are Z's

If so one of the best ways that I found to solve them was to do just like I did above, take the items given in the statements and make them single letters or numbers. It doesn't work for every type but it does help understand them...at least it did for me, but I tend to score higher in the logic portions of the exams.
Meh...

I went straight to the branch after I found out and quit as fast as i could!

That company has done nothing but screw me around the last couple of months. They lost the TD AND Royal contracts and just decided to go to ABM crews on-call seven days a week instead of just sundays.

I was giggling as i cleaned out my locker.

I applied in December 1997, did the GATB in March, physical in April, interview in like....June...got the call on the August long weekend while I was on vacation.

Not hired yet, but I'm one step closer as I got the call this week. I'll be in Troop 17 starting Sept. 12.

I was on the road when I got the call. I almost didn't call back as I was behind and besides, it was the third friday in a row they had called, the last two times to ask about my first aid. But, my driver convinced me to call back, so I did. First thing out of her mouth was to ask about my first aid, so I told her that I was getting it done on the weekend. Then she asked how much notice I had to give to work, I said two weeks, she said "well you'll have to tell them today then." By the time I got back to the shop they already knew.

It was a good time to leave too, we had just like 72% of the Royal contract. Things have just gotten worse since then, TD FLM was lost to Diebold ala NCR and Royal, they're going down to one-man service crews and two-man night crews. Everyone's losing their job.

Oh, and try not to make light of opp2's math. She's just trying to feel younger.

Just remember:
- you don't have to pay for the food;
- you can see what the food is before it hits your plate;
- you do NOT have to take the food being served;
- it looks REALLY stupid to take the food, THEN complain about it AND finally to throw it out partially, or not-at-all, eaten;
- eating anywhere OTHER THAN the mess is expensive and you are NOT being paid yet;
- the food in the "sticky bun" machines can clear out mighty fast at night or on the weekends;
- the Depot mess staff make GREAT cookies!
