Congratulations on your persistence guys! Both of you are great role models for the rest of us to never give up!

Met an RCMP guy who got deferred FIVE times! He's 25 years old so must've been a case of several 1-3 year deferrals. He's a part of a religious minority group (Muslim, has the rcmp turban and all). Really breaks the perception that minorities get priority in hiring over others.
Muslims don't wear turbans..
Some do. Muslim clerics generally.
No they dont. You have less brain cells than a door mat. Do you even know what a turban is? Why does everyone love to chime in so much, god you are so stupid.

Shia Muslims wear turbans during traditional ceremonies.

Whoa.. relax there bud. Some variations of Muslims do wear turbans. Different design, but a turban nonetheless. So I think you should ask yourself that question before you degrade someone on a public platform.

Wearing turbans is common among Sikhs, including women. The headgear also serves as a religious observance, including among Shia Muslims, who regard turban-wearing as Sunnah Mu'akkadah.

Feels good to finally cite Wikipedia (University joke).
