If you want to get "your name out there", go to volunteering events, not a session that's meant for people whom are looking to apply.

Hey Slovak4188,

Would you be open to myself PM'ing you?
It is in regards to the hiring process.

Let me know, and do not feel obligated of course,

Regards,

Anybody in the process for 19-01? Receive any emails or calls for the medical assessment dates in November? Any updates or am I on an island in this thread?

Cheers.

Hello Everyone,

I am currently preparing for my in-depth interview, which is in about a week. Any tips how would you recommend preparing for it?

We all sign a disclosure. Nobody will divulge any interview details on here.

That being said...It’s called an ID interview because they will literally go “in depth” on a wide variety of topics. Expect all sorts of questions, as you would with any LE interview.

The best advice I can give you is be yourself and be honest. Know yourself well. If it’s meant to be it’s meant to be. Good luck.

Hello all,
I applied online for peel about a week ago and got the application package 4 days later. I applied today and am just wondering what to expect for a time frame to hear back if they choose to move forward with me?
Thank you

Do you mean the personal history form? I applied late January, and I'm still waiting for the next step. Peel and Toronto will take awhile to get back to you.

Hello,

I am kind of getting worried about timelines with regards to Peel Recruiting.

I have completed my LFA and Shuttle run with Peel Police back in November. I have not heard anything back from them. I have also shot a email to the recruting officer and have not gotten a reply.

Is this normal to be out in the dark for this many months ?

Thank you,
Adam

The staff sergeant that watched us do the shuttle run told us we will be informed if we're moving or not via email or phone call (the phone call being the positive news). That's the information I'm working with until proven otherwise I guess.

Some services literally forget to let the applicant know if they're not moving forward. This is partly blamed on the Human Resource Department lol. With that said, fair enough - Good luck with your process! Its been like a month and a half since I submitted my Personal history form to Peel 88)

edit: Okay, literally got invited to LFA when I wrote this lol.
