Absolutely, however, it made me realize that some things in the hiring process don't make much sense and are totally open to interpretation by the Officer whom gets to look at your file.

I had the Peel interview/PBQ about a week after the Halton PBQ, wrote the EXACT identical answers to all the questions. One application I pushed through right to the end, the other ended even before getting a full day of review lol.

Hey everyone,
I'm new to this thread, but I'm just inquiring about the LFI for Halton. It's been a while since I've applied to a police service (2011). When I did, I got to the Hamilton ECI to which I was unsuccessful... I've learned a lot from it, I've grown up and have gained a significant amount of life experience. Specially now since I'm a Correctional Officer in Sask, but originally from Ontario.

My question is, the LFI for Halton, is it geared more towards knowledge of the area (Ie. Population, values, services, local area, etc) or more so questions about previous situations/examples, similar to the ECI? I'm doing my PBQ and LFI on the same day.

Thanks
Sask Correctional Officer

Wait a minute. Didn't you say back in 2016 that you are a police officer already?

Did my PBQ last night and this afternoon was invited for an LFI on June 1. Good luck to those who were with me last night.

Did my PBQ and LFI last Sept 2017 and it is about knowledge of Halton, Halton Police also about yourself ( work, habits, volunteer experiences, education)
Hope this help

For Halton's PBQ do you have to show how much you know about their service?
