As always, good luck to all of the applicants on here. Looking forward to seeing some of you at Depot!

Congrats on receiving your troop offer! That was one hell of a wait for your medical clearance, 4 months? but obviously well worth it :) Wishing you all the best at Depot!
Yea it was! Kept me on my toes for sure. Thanks! Hopefully you get some good news soon too.

Shoot that's quite a wait
The wait sucks....it takes forever, and no matter how hard you push, the system keeps you waiting.....but trust me, I am in my last 2 weeks of Depot, Grad June18th, it is all worth it. The waiting, the frustration, everything, it is all worth that surge and badge.

Good luck and hang in there.

Hey fellow BC applicants.

I've had news I was recommended after PEP about 3 weeks ago, I have not received anything further in regards to BGI, or Medicals. Just reaching out to see how long it took after PEP recommendation to depot. Thanks for your time.

Still waiting for my SC and in final suitability but I read on the RCMP chitchat forum that final suitability is back logged so even though it may have only taken a month or two for some people, we may be in a long waiting line now.

The saying I've been told a few times is "hurry up and wait" everyone's timelines are different, all for different reasons.

Congrats on being one step closer in the process now though!

Don’t let your drill instructor catch you making that kind of spelling mistake.

If you were the drill instructor would you give him a 7:30 LA or down for 10? 8)

Neither, I’d direct the cadet to prepare an essay on the necessity of accuracy in communications and attention to detail, outlining the hazards of making sloppy mistakes such as the one made there. And if the cadet’s troop already had their blues then they would be required to stand to and speak to the traditions and history of the RCMP uniform, with sneakers in their future should they not perform in a satisfactory manner.

To some people it’s a spelling mistake, to other’s it’s a warning sign.
When people get too chummy with me, I like to call them by the wrong name to let them know I don’t really care about them.

Hi folks,

Pretty quiet in here. Hows everyone's process going? Did MMPI recently, waiting for results. File is currently with security team for final review and waiting for medical results.

Don't hold your breath. Shit-all happens from mid-December until well into January.
