Hi fellow BC applicants! Just wanting to see if anyone has had any movement with their Final Suitability stage.

I have been informed that I am waiting in line for FS. Blackandblue, based on your timeline I would say I'm roughly 2 months behind you.

A general question: Volunteer experience seems to be one of many important parts of a person's candidacy. At what stage in the process does this come up? Or were we just supposed to sneak it in somewhere?

quick questions here from a new user, I am currently working on my Selection Package and have a couple of questions that I've tried searching through the forums with no luck on a direct answer to my questions. so
1) do I have to sign every page of every document I scan and send on E-post? or just the first page of each set of documents?
2) do I have to Scan all pages of my forms and send them through E-Post or just the signed/initialed ones?
3) has anyone had issues with scanning multiple pages at 300dpi (i.e. RMAQ) 21 pages to fit the 5.0MB limit for uploading?(if I only need to upload page 3 then that answers my question 2 sort of)

Best bet is to read thriugh the instruction package or ask your coordinator
For question 3 I believe I set my scanner to scan multiple pages into one file- this is how I kept the required resolution and file size

I emailed my FC the other day and got a response saying my file is still with Final Suitability/departmental security. I've only been there since late January so I've got no complaints; also my psych interview was completed just a few weeks ago so it'll probably be a while longer.
Have you had any contact with your FC lately Blackandblue?

stevemcmav, my understanding is that medical encompasses the psych portion, so when you get word that you have cleared medical, that will include the psych portion.

I am also at final suitability, and I have last heard from my FC on Monday (it feels like a lifetime ago). Buddy over in the General Chit Chat thread got notification that he cleared medical and then a troop offer later the same day; we should all be so lucky!

Hey all,
I got a call this morning from the RCMP and a retired Sgt asked if I could come to Surrey for a meeting regarding my SC. I was under the impression that they'd call if they had any questions so it caught me off guard a bit! Has anyone else had this experience?
Hope it's going well for everyone, the thread has been quiet!
Thanks.

I also got a call this morning. Conditional offer for Troop 4!

stevemcmav, I assume that going in to speak with someone is more of a positive than a negative. I hope it goes well for you.

I'm also in FSR, since beginning of March so hasn't been all that long yet. Fingers crossed some get some good news in the coming weeks! :D
