Hey fellow candidates, hope all is well, I was reading few posts about firearms and this is to just let you all know that you do not need to have your gun license. All you need is to pass the gun courses, they are done on the weekend or weekdays (2 day course with exam at the end of each course).

Everyone at this point has a different timeline so do not think you are not making it, breathe, enjoy your life with your loved ones, pray that this covid ends soon, and most importantly focus on yourself and the job your currently in.

Also for anyone who wrote the physc exam on Oct. 8th. 2020 or close to it, did you guys get any updates or emails regarding it?

Have a great weekend!
Thanks

Oh god! It is only about 4 hours drive since I am in Toronto. I still did not feel like driving there. Partially because I got an extension of 6 months and I have not worked out since COVID. Good luck! Hopefully we can meet one day!

Even though they said I was intake ready not sure how they would take me in since I still have to redo my pysch as well since it expired. Ii haven't been given a date either. Also I haven't been able to get a confirmation email either to advise if they even received my PARE redo results. You'll get there. My guess is they will restart next year.

Same over here I have been Intake ready for almost 1 full year but now I redid my PARE by anticipation and for my CAT III I received the ok to redo it so I am just waiting results from Health Canada to see if its a pass or not but nothing really changed so I assume I will be passing this one as well which brings me to my Psych renewal which is about to expire around end of January and start of February 2021 and have not received anything yet to redo except a generic email that they will have me redo it in anticipation for next year. It obviously takes time but keep living your lives and accept the news/emails as they come in

Did you send an email to recruitment for a possible status update on your file?

I know my self at least a couple times I think it was my SLE results and my Security clearance. SLE I waited 1 full month then sent an email and received a reply stating that they had misplaced my results and it didn’t get sent and as for my Clearance waited 2 months than sent an email and got a reply stating that I had been given clearance 3 days after my actual interview.

Which I don’t blame anyone these things happen were all humans which is why every so often I send an email to get a status update.

Quick question is there an intake at Rigaud now? If so when did they go or resume the training?

Thanks in advance
