I just completed my PARE this past May and a medical clearance form wasn’t required. Maybe ask the administrator of your test if it’s still required?
Thank you. Yes I have reached out to Policefit multiple times with no replies. 😔 time is ticking! My test is scheduled for Wednesday

Look over the forms carefully. You only need A doctor to sign and go over the forums if you checked "YES" in one of the medical questions.
It was the same when I took it in 2019, no Doctor signed clearance form was needed for most of the people, some had forms. I signed a consent form at the spot and that was it.

The form was "like" this (but with CBSA logo) : https://www.gprc.ab.ca/doc.php?d=2013PAREMEDFORM

"• I have read and understood the information provided in relation to the test I am about to undertake.
• I give my consent to undertake the PARE"

" If you answered YES to any of these questions, you must obtain a PARE Medical Clearance form."

also see here the CBSA instructions to the PARE centers : https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publication ... 7-eng.html

Right but I think the point is that where they're going for their PARE test, requires it. A lot of places do.

What are the chances the PARE administrators that do require that doctor form for all to not be aware of the real rules ? ;)

As some centers don't need the Doctor form for all but only from people with some condition and the CBSA rules list clearly :

"Forms Received

Get Active Questionnaire
Consent Form
Medical Clearance (if required) "

Some food for thought ...

Hi there,

Just wondering if there are candidates out there who are still waiting for the psychological assessment. I submitted the form on July 14th and received a confirmation that my file will be updated but I have not heard anything since. I am applying from Toronto, ON.

Thanks and Stay Safe

Just a quick question to those that are in Riguad now!

Do you guys know which POE/region y'all are going to yet, or no?

I know many posts ago, we spoke of the double blind draw (10 weeks in). And then, a few others on here, chimed in that during their recruitment process, they were to be told where they were going once they got the invitation.

Thanks! Hope everyone is doing well!

A great book just came out if any of you guys want to know what the job is really like.

A Life on the Line - My Unexpected Career with the Canada Border Services Agency. It was written by Grant Patterson, a BSO from out west who retired after 17 years. A great read, stuff we all see but don't talk about, and it's friggin hilarious.
