Reasons:
1. I still remember the moment I landed in Toronto, the first people I spoke with was the girl from immigration. Ever since that moment, I always think it is a good career to get into.
2. I love to protect my country.
3. Good career, good pay, good pension.
4. This is a career that my kids will be proud of.

I really want to be posted to Toronto Pearson Airport, or anywhere as close to Toronto as possible.

Reasons why i want to be a CBSA Officer

1. Fighting the war against drugs on the front line for our country.
2. Mobility! I am from a small town and this is a fantastic reason to move elsewhere and better myself
3. Fair Pay + Good benefits
4. Family within law enforcement. However, i want to go a new route with the CBSA.
5. Best training in the world for this type of service.

Top 3 places to be posted

1. A small city of ontario, maybe Cornwall or Kingston
2. New Brunswick
3. BC

I live 25 minutes from the rigaud training academy and I always drive past and honestly, it’s quite impressive.
tu parle français? I am taking courses right now; even though I was born in Quebec.

First time poster :)

Five reasons:

1. I have always been intrigued by customs. My father was a customs broker for 40 years or so. I have worked on the other side as well, for two customs brokerages, many years ago. While it’s wasn’t CBSA, obviously, it was what initially sparked my interest over 20 years ago.

2. Career. Benefits. Pension. Job security. I’m a mother of three children and ready for the career I’ve always wanted.

3. The daily challenge. You can learn something new every day at this job. The idea of experiencing so many aspects of the job, on a daily basis, is so intriguing to me.

4. A lifelong respect and admiration for those who serve and protect and a desire to be able to do the same.

5. As an older applicant, I am very focused and my goal is to obtain the job I’ve always wanted.

Port Selection:

Windsor
