Any tips on completing the PARE while sick?
You don't. It's a physical exam. You need to do the course while in good condition. Otherwise, you're just risking to fail.

You can do one right after the other if you want. I would assume the new result will over-ride the old one I guess if it is submitted.

A light hearted post; check out the CBSA Facebook page with their May the “4” posts. Porg gave me a chuckle.

I haven't got the official invite yet, I'm thinking end of the month. They only told me in April I'd be going in August but it wasn't the official. 😁

You are not able to take the PARE again on the same day, if you fail. So depending which area you are from, you may have to wait awhile to retake. IMO...if you are under the weather at all, I would wait to do it! It takes a great deal of cardio!

I’m seeing a lot of posts that say August intake invitations are coming sometime in the month of May, if I’m having my security interview on the 2nd week of May, does that mean I have zero chance on getting that August intake invitation then? Please see my timeline below if anybody needs it to establish a pattern from previous applicants and whatnot. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

To get an invite the applicant has to obtain their clearance. If you're having your interview coming soon you might hear back about your clearance a week later or months later. Everyone's timeline is so different. I would say that if you get your clearance soon you'll be lined up for January or one of the earlier intakes of 2020. But....who knows! They could just be waiting for you to complete your interview and then send an invite out for August. Some people get a separate email telling them they obtained their clearance before they get an invite. Myself and several others just got an invite and in that same email it tells you that your clearance was obtained.
Keep checking your email and keep up the patience! It will come. Good luck

I thought the same. I haven't received my invite yet but we have the exact same timeline. The time it takes to get your clearance depends on your past (Your traveling experience, credit score, etc.) It may be fast or it may take over 13 months. Don't worry ! The best is yet to come ! :alright:
