Anybody got a date for their OTEE? Applied to the recent most recent posting (January 2019) and still have not received anything regarding the application.

Hello, looking for a general timeline (please assume all are passes)

Writing exam this month.
When do you think I can expect next step?

The reason I ask is a planned honeymoon last 2 weeks of June 2019.

Should I worry? Or still too early?

Thanks!
You will be just fine! This process takes about 2 years......security check alone is about a year. Honeymoon away!! But, be sure to check your emails for any emails regarding testing or interview dates, they usually only give you a week notice for steps, but if it’s while you are gone just let them know you have prepaid travel plans and they will work with you to reschedule. Enjoy!!!

Hi Jared,

There were already two groups that got OTEE invitations for Feb. 21-25 and March 11- don’t remember the ending date for this one because I was in the first group.

I have no idea how many are to come yet, there are people I know that still are waiting to get their invitations.

While I appreciate you folks are still civilians and rightfully excited about your upcoming Rigaud training, it is tactically unsound and outrageous that any of you would think it wise to post self-identifying information on an open forum (many of you have posted critical information such as current and past employment, city/province of residence, age, interests, et cetera, that can be used to identify you through google searches, pipl.com, and LinkedIn - as well as reverse email searches). If any of you use your Blueline usernames for other purposes, you may have compromised your anonymity. I cannot overstate that as BSO’s in-waiting, organized crime maintains an interest in leveraging your vulnerabilities on their behalf by way of threats and extortion.

If applicants can not understand how a public list of user names, ages and home locations might impact officer safety and potentially affect the safety of both themselves and their colleagues, perhaps some of them should rethink their careers. Do you people not understand you will be issued firearms, ammunition and other use-of-force weapons that should perhaps NOT fall into the hands of criminals? Just because lots of this information may be out there already or just because other forums are doing it, doesn't mean THIS forum is going to do it.

This is not open to discussion or debate.
