Anonymity really does wonders to people, doesn't it? Wish for the best on your future endeavors. 2 years seems long but it'll go by quick. Your OTEE should still be eligible by then I hope. EDIT: Actually can someone clarify this for me? I'd like to know, haha :D

Anyways, good luck :D
The OTEE result is good forever which is stated on our result sheet.
Wanted to clarify because my result says "Your scores, shown above, are valid for this version only". If the exam changes, will CBSA require you to do that version of the exam thus making your old results invalid?
You are right. I did miss the point. I think it depends on the situation. Let’s say if you are in a process which you already passed the exam, even if they develop another test, you will not take the new test. However, if you apply for a new process, a new test is developed, then you need to take the new test. It is the case that the introduction of OTEE, when I re-applied to CBSA, my previous GT2 and WPCT are not valid anymore.

Hey guys,

Nice to see the thread back up.

I'm just waiting on my online portion too now. My Security Analysts opinion was that I would likely get my package in November, do it in December then off to the Academy in January.

Side note: I got my security clearance issued in sept as well.

Seems that for people with timelines like ours that the online invites could be sent out in the next week or two

I was wondering if there was anyone who knew what the physical training is like at riguad ? Is it cross fit or jogging ? Weight training?

So the physical training at Rigaud is primarily circuit training, the first month-month and a half are really quite easy. But as far as the after hours fitness if you put in effort and actually challenge yourself the fitness will be beneficial. Some days it's hard to actually want to participate but it's a couple hours a week. Go to it and enjoy yourself because after Rigaud you may find it difficult to find time to work out or exercise.

I wish the best of luck to current and future applicants; I am focusing on another job application right now and won't post in this forum until I am eligible to apply reapply.

I can be reached via PM if you want to contact me.

and a friendly reminder, don't PM people saying your glad they didn't pass and were deemed unsuitable, that's a prick move. Yes you know who you are.
Anyone who would feel compelled the need to message you afterwards to express happiness for your disappointment is everything an officer should not be; regardless of how one may feel towards you.

Best of luck on your future endeavors.

Hello everyone

Just want to share my pride with you...i finally pass my "pare test" yesterday...and I just don't know how...but i made it beyond my expectations!! Every single step in this process are tough..but to me, this "/$%?? pare was my worst nightmare..started from 5:35 last october, to 4:56, to 4:38 (in the practice run), I finally made it in 4:23. To me, at my age with an overweight situation, it is like the highlight of 2019. Many months of training, good eating, and positive visualisation . Lost over 45 pounds...I don't want to make story here, but i wanted to share this positive step in my process (it was my personnal great victory!) While waiting to take my english exam...since i'm not speaking english very well, i know i can my melsef understood in english...and i know I would improve my english by working in an anglophone environment... The test worries me a little, but i'll make my best... Anybody know's what happens if i fail the test? Can i pass it again in a short lapse of time?

I also had my interview 9/19. Did you get cleared the same day or did they email you a couple days after?
