I wrote the exam oct 20th, the final day. Passed with 85%. I have yet to hear back for an interview. Others have gotten in for November. I assume that they are doing it based on when you wrote the test and a combination of your score. My last name would be at the top of the list if they did it that way. And with Holiday season coming up, it’s safe to assume we won’t hear much more until January! Hang on tight everyone the emails will come!

For anyone who has had an interview in Alberta, how long did you have to wait to hear anything?

I had my interview last week (I’m in Ontario) and I found out today that I passed! They told me at the interview to expect to wait 3 weeks to find out the results. I’m doing the PARE in January, I’m pretty nervous for it though because I have a broken toe that hasn’t fully healed yet and training hasn’t made it feel any better.

In the same boat as you, I think for the people who did the OTEE exam and passed, no one will really know how they processing everyone, so my suggestion is just go at your own pace and everything will fall in its place. If you passed the OTEE exam you are guaranteed a spot for the interview, and you are right with the holiday season, I am 100% sure the upper level managers probably have requested their vacations ahead of time and will be back in the first week of january. Just keep swimming for now! :swords:

When it says to bring your Secondary School Diploma, does that just mean my original high school diploma?
Should I bring my degree instead? Do I really have to carry the original while it's in a frame??? 88)

Do not assume anything. If they say your Secondary School Diploma, bring it! And have it ready for them because they're most likely going to photocopy it. I've seen people get cut from internal competitions because they forgot to mention they have high school, but did mention their university degree. I know, it's dumb and stupid. But that's the government for you. You're not entering the real world. Common sense clearly lacks here,

To clarify. I meant common sense lacks in the government. Not this forum.

Haha this is so so true. In the agency Im currently with so many people were screened out of competitions and promotions for not putting something that was implied or common sense, HS Diploma was one of them even though it was a condition of employment for your initial hire to begin with. Its the attention to EVERY SINGLE DETAIL that matters when it comes to competitions like these.

Haha my original question was really referring what a Secondary School Diploma was. I've never referred to my high school as that!
