Any prior Student CBSA officers here? Just did my exam and passed and now i’ve Been invited for an interview. They want me to go in person but it’s quite a drive for me. Is it possible to do it via video chat?

I called them and asked, and they said it had to happen in person. So was just wondering if anyone here had done it via online conference, seems odd to expect a student to travel all the way there just for a one hour interview.

I'm not up to that point yet in the process but I did do the part 1 of my Psych Eval last friday. God that took so long to finish, lol. There were a lot more people than I thought was going to be, too. And I got my interview scheduled for the beginning of next month. Pretty nervous. Hope they don't think I'm crazy :D (that was a joke)
I think we wrote at the same time. It did take a while to complete. It's tough waiting for the results given the failure rate. :\ I also feel like I could have answered a few items differently, but no point in looking back now. I can only hope for the best and keep positive.

It is completely normal to have the feeling of not answering the questions properly. I had the same feeling as well. Fortunately, I passed. Just relax and wait for your interview. You would be fine. Good luck!

If you're also a GTA applicant, we probably did it together, haha. I definitely feel as if I could've answered some questions differently. But overall, I'm pretty content with my answers. I wish there was an earlier Interview date option though, lol. But I was told that there was an earlier group doing the same Psych Eval prior to the one I was with, so that's probably why.

Anonymity really does wonders to people, doesn't it? Wish for the best on your future endeavors. 2 years seems long but it'll go by quick. Your OTEE should still be eligible by then I hope. EDIT: Actually can someone clarify this for me? I'd like to know, haha :D

Anyways, good luck :D

Wanted to clarify because my result says "Your scores, shown above, are valid for this version only". If the exam changes, will CBSA require you to do that version of the exam thus making your old results invalid?
