Hello all, new to the forum.
My impatience is taking over- it has now been five weeks and still no word on my results for the psych.
Anyone else with a timeline similar to mine, still waiting to hear back?

Applied: February 2
OTEE: February 14 - PASS
Interview: May 27 - PASS
Psych exam: September 14
Psych interview: September 23
Security papers:
PARE:
Medical Evaluation:
Security Clearance:

I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but if your timeline is all from this year, take a step back. You're moving quicker than 95% of people. 5 weeks is nothing to the months you're going to wait for your security clearance. i understand the process can take some serious patience, but it's something you need to live with. Five weeks is a bit long, but not the longest I've seen.
Understandable! I was just wondering if the longer wait for the psych results was “normal”. Thank you for your response!
No worries. Once again I apologize if I sounded rude. But you have been quite fortunate up to this point and perhaps should focus on that rather than driving yourself crazy with the current wait. Hang in there. Your time is coming!

You are almost there. I know it is easy to say it. I have been waiting for 6 month, I start to lose the hope. Thinking of spending more time with your family before you leaving for training helps. Good luck!

Towards the end of the application process and was wondering if anybody has an invite to a training session in riguard. Im trying to gauge how much konger I have ti train fir the PARE test
were you able to complete your CAT III medical without completing the PARE?
Yes. I've been putting the PARE off until the end of security clearance for both training purposes to be better prepared for it, and because it is only good for 18 months. (I've never been good with PT so I want my certificate to last as long as possible.) But to answer your question, yes. I have been able to complete all steps up to this point prior to completing the PARE, including the Medical, Vision and Hearing tests

I am currently waiting for integrity interview, been in this stage for 6 months. Since I am a full time university student, I have the opportunity to apply for SBSO. Would it make sense to apply for that? Is SBSO and BSO require the same level of security clearance? I really appreciate your help! And good luck to everyone who is in the process!

LOL I don't think so. Even the military lets people keep their hair!
Most likely just need it styled/out of the way (ponytail/braids etc).

Although, it would be easy upkeep and big savings on hair products!

A bit off topic I was wondering do you learn Jiu Jitsu or boxing or anything while in Rigaud. I have been taking Jiu Jitsu not long but for the past 4 months I was wondering if it will help having a base when I finally get the invite.
