Mind me asking when you applied?
I applied on August last year.
Aren't you suppose to take OTEE instead of the old tests?
I don't know the reason why, I know these exams were replaced by the OTEE. In my confirmation of attendance these 2 exams were pre-selected and in my invitation these were indicated. I believe they just merged these two exams to make it one and termed it as OTEE to be more specific for law enforcements. All are in the same format and all are to test •reasoning skills •writing skills •analytical thinking •client orientation.

Are there anyone else who are invited to take these two exams this month, same as mine?

I completed my interview today...yikes! Did anyone else get this feeling afterwards like you could have done better but ended up receiving a pass anyways? Sigh...now the anxiety is going to kill me in having to wait for the results. To think one has to wait another 2 years if the outcome is not favourable. Good luck to everyone else going through this process!
Applied - Aug. 2018
OTEE - Sept. 2018
Interview - February 2019
CFSC/CRFSC - April 2019

You can apply as soon as a new posting is up if you fail an interview. No need to wait two years.

My first interview I thought I did very well and ended up failing one competency. My second interview I thought I bombed it but ended up succeeding all competencies so take that how you want.. 88)

Could please someone tell me about medical exam/assessment?

What are requirements to pass medical?
Who does exam and fill out papers? Can my family doctor do it?
Do they request your file from medical doctor?

Thanks so much.

From CBSA website:
7. Medical exam

A physician designated by Health Canada completes an Occupational Health Assessment Report. This Category III assessment evaluates your physical ability to perform the duties of a border services officer.

You must meet the following vision and hearing standards:

Vision: corrected vision 6/9 in the better eye and 6/15 in the other eye.
Hearing: no more than a 25 decibel loss (in the better ear) at a range between 500–3000 hertz.

The doctor's decision determines if you are able to undergo "use of force" training and perform the physical duties of a border services officer. Results are valid for one year.

(so not your family doctor)

Hey guys,

Just wondering how long everyone waited for their psych invite after receiving their interview results. I heard someone say it is supposed to take a month, but I'm passed that point now.
We're on the same timeline. Got my results on Jan 2nd. Still no invite for psy. eval. im sure it will come very soon.

Hey everyone.

I applied on February 8, and haven't got any email indicating that I was selected or not, only notice that my application has been retained.

How long usually it takes to receive any response?

Anyone hear anything further about the next OITP intake.
June, July, August as I remember.
Redoing my pare in 2 weeks and at the end of the month my medical expires, just checking timelines.
Cheers😁
