Do you know if the next step after the OTEE is immdiately the interview or we can have the physical tests before. Does they really follow the selection process mentioned on their website (https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/job-emploi/ ... n-eng.html) ?

Thank you and have a good one!

Yes I did too

Yeah I got that email too!!! I instantly sent them an email because I agreed to work ANYWHERE in Canada and I only looked at those 3 districts as a preference. Feels like we got punished for applying for small communities instead of the regular posting.

I'm not. I waited till I had my 2-year college diploma (April 2018) to apply so I didnt have to take the entrance exam. The small communities was the only thing available at that time.

But I'm sick of the CBSA right now. They only email me once every 3 months and it felt so automated. The RCMP has been treating me so well.

I would've liked to work for the CBSA but not now.

Did everyone who wrote the OTEE in SEP/OCT get their results already or did they just begin to send them out?

Also got this too. Was hoping to stay in the pool for this take, regardless of if the site I picked is not being considered.

Ask me again! It shouldn't be a guessing game. Next time the applying opens up, let's pick the place we think no one wants to work or they have trouble getting people to work at. Going to be applying again for the one in early 2019.

My timeline for the CBSA is as follows

April 2018: Applied
July 2018: Pick 3 provinces, requested to do PARE (did pare in July, passed)
October 2018: Asked to submit proof of college diploma, told to prepare for interview

Then yesterday I got the email that lots of others received regarding our provinces.
