I'm in the second class if that helps

I'm in the second class as well. I like how the CBSA gives me two last names on everything lol thankfully my name tag will only be the one last name.

Anyone from the lower mainland have any idea where boots that meet the CBSA requirement can be found? The only ones I have been able to find that meet all the requirements are laced but has a side zipper...

Have you been to that store near Cambie station? I can't recall the name right now but it was listed as a supplier. I haven't gone yet and was wondering if you did to save me a trip.

Did a quick search through a local vendor, I think the models below meet CBSA requirements.

Even though I clicked English, 50% of this site is showing to me in French and I can't figure out how to actually order them on my phone. Nothing I click is working :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Just take note of the models, i'm sure you can find equivalents locally. I suggest you try them on before buying. I'm in the 3rd group by the way. I saw your name in the online users column.

I'm going to try to pop by the store in Montreal in a few weeks, I'll keep y'all updated. I don't think the online ordering is working, I can't do it on my laptop either. I was looking at the Bates boot, but if this works too, I'm up for whatever. Not much reviews and information to go by :?

Just to assist you.

I have some experience with that type of boots and the ones Mike picked will be very heavy because they are really made for construction workers...

What that you want ideally are really tactical boots, because they are lighter.

One brand that does the job is Magnum, with its Stealth model.

Also 511 makes some boots, maybe one model will fit the requirements.

As for Bates there is the GX8 if you can find the zipless model.

Good luck guys !!

;)

Did anyone try filling out their information for the OITP learner ID? The form is not allowing me to input my full phone number. Did anyone else have this issue? :?

I did as well. I just put the last 5 digits of my phone number, and typed the full number in the second phone number column

Does anyone know if once you're on the job, you can buy boots with side zips? The stealth model had a side zip which won't work this time around. I checked 5.11 and most of them have side zips as well unfortunately =/
