I haven't heard anything yet. but, I know that Ontario was on March break last week, and the Atlantic provinces this week, so I'm not expecting any word back until next week at the earliest.

Thanks for the reply. I’m Pacific Region and we were tested Feb 28th.

Hi there.
Its been a month for me so I enquired about scores. I received an email back saying they are getting test results out ASAP. What that means for time, I don’t know. All I know is federal job processes tend to take some time. I guess it’s time to start exercising ones patience.

Best of luck.

Slow forum. Hopefully it picks up. Anyways, I received my tentative dates for the Vidcruiter portion of the competition. Anyone else?

Is anyone wondering what it means for the classification of GT-02 to be "Under Revision?" Does anyone know if the GT-04 salary is also under revision?

The rate of pay seems low for a federal officer / federal government position. Particularly with the level of responsibilities outlined in the job description.

Well.........VidCruiter is done. Can’t say I’m feeling to optimistic. I now know I definitely prefer face to face interviews. Good luck to all those out there.

I second Potato's comments its a long drawn out process don't get too worked up about it right now there are many more steps to go. Best of luck to all in the current process I just finished the training at depot.

For those who have gone through the hiring process, what was your experience with the placements? How likely is it that a new recruit could be working out of Vancouver, Burlington, Halifax or St. John's?

Any insight about where new cadets are likely to end up would be great! Tks.

When I got my initial email saying I was selected for testing I received a list of the regions and locations that were open. I took a second look for you. Vancouver and St Johns are both listed. Negative for Burlington and Halifax.

I could be wrong but that’s what my email included.

Hey guys, do you have any advice or book to recommend to be ready for the final interview, and more for the job ? I'm reading, writing, taking A LOT of notes from their Website DFO/MPO. I'm even reading on the Archives of Canada from old Fishery Officer's Guide book, 1983 haha. Anything to get more information and to acquire knowledge for the job ! :) Thank you !

Been a month, still waiting for the VidCruiter response and/or news, taking this time to be ready !

Good luck all !!
