Perfect - Thank you.

It also says that I will have to answer “general knowledge” questions on the LFI. General knowledge in regard to what? About the police service (name of chief etc)? About myself and why I’m applying? It’s pretty vague
You need to do your own research on every step of the hiring process. Everything you need to know is online. If you need to ask these questions on the forum it’s obvious you’re not ready/prepared to hand in an application

Hello everyone,
I currently have my application in with TPS. I passed the ECI/LFI. I haven't received a call for the written and psychology portion. But the question is can anyone give me insight on the Written portion and what it entails??

Just a simple exposure of hipocrasy ;)

This is literally a forum for applicants to ask questions and get advice..the same reason why you all are here.

General question to anyone that may know

Once you pass the ECI with one service in Ontario are you still required to do an ECI with a different service that you may have applied to?

Example ... Pass with Kingston would you be required to do another in Toronto if you apply there ?

Thx

In my experience, yes.

In your example, you can pass with Kingston and still have to do it again with Toronto. If you subsequently fail with Toronto, your application with Kingston will be affected (not sure if it's terminated or if they will make you redo the ECI after the waiting period).

It’s valid for a year. Let other services know you’ve done it and they’ll reach out for the results from the service you’ve done it with.

How much do your grades/GPA on your transcripts affect your chances of moving forward?

just because you've done it with one, doesn't mean the other will let you use it though :P

Hey folks, first time here and just got a few questions.

Does anyone know if TPS is going to be hiring large numbers next year 2021? and also are there any significant changes to the hiring process besides the post-secondary being a requirement moving forward?
