Has anyone been unsuccessful at the ECI / LFI Interview stage and received the email stating you can write a reactivation letter after 3 months. Has any one done it and how long did it take to receive a response?
Yes I got an email the first time I tried. I received an email after about 3 weeks with a new interview date. I sent my letter during the Christmas period so that could be the long wait.

Cheers.
Okay, I will be sending my letter closer to the end of the month. Wanted to get an idea of the wait time. Thanks for your response, much appreciated.

Yeah...apparently they take an average of 1-2 months to get back to you. Too many applicants lol.

I applied mid-November and got a PBQ invite mid-January. You might have to wait a bit longer bud, TPS is known to take a while to get back to you.

TPS is going to be dealing with much more volume this year than last, because an application can be submitted pre-fitness assessment and the PATI was harder than the GMAA. TPS recruiters are going to be very busy.

Hello guys I was wondering how important college diplomas are when hiring to TPS. Is it a make or break type of thing?

Putting in my application regardless

Thanks

If you are applying to a Police Service without post-secondary education, and the system is changing in 2021 where you need post-secondary education to become a Police Officer, then you probably can conclude that it is a huge factor. There are many senior Police Officers right now with just high school diplomas. Apply and find out. There are people with University degrees with poor marks getting deferred while people with just Police Foundation becoming Police Officers. Depends on the service, depends on the recruiter, depends on your history, so - many - factors.

GOOD LUCK.

Depends. What do you have to bring to the table that will make you stand out? How old are you? What field of work are you currently employed in and for how long? How involved are you with your community? Do you volunteer and if so how often? All things that every employer is going to take into consideration.

It's going to be mandatory soon, so I'd say pretty important lol.
