Just received an invite for the info session, as well as a request for personal disclosure. Getting pretty excited!

Went to the one in Calgary. I was surprised at how few there were in the room. Very informative though!

Yeah that is surprising. I heard that there were about 50 people for last year's info-session. Very curious if the number of applicants decreased. I feel like this forum would be much more lively at this time.

Department is growing very very very fast. Lots of changes and lots of opportunities. Recruiting process has changed within last year SIGNIFICANTLY!!!
Even within your entry level position as a Court Sheriff there are great training and secondment opportunities. Our fleet has been updated, training has been revamped also.Even possibilities within specialty units have opened up. Its a great time to apply.

They had me on out of province escorts. Makes me more excited if I get in.

There will likely not be another Traffic Class until next year. Lets not go starting that rumour.

Just curious if anyone has heard anything back yet after the last round of interviews for the Calgary/Edmonton competition?

Nothing yet, I also know another applicant and they haven't heard anything either. Enjoy the waiting game! All apart of the process!

I just got a call today from my recruiter letting me know i wasn't selected to move forward, but she gave me some good interview tips for next time. Hopefully they have another competition soon
