Congrats on getting the call. Not sure where you're from but if you're from away I hope you enjoy the east coast.

Congrats on your call! What institution are you going to?

No. Just recently completed my security questionnaire. Just have my medical to complete. Where abouts are you in the process?

I know this is probably unique to my situation but here it goes. Back in March I received an email stating that I was no longer being considered further in the selection process due to failing my physical. The reason for failing my physical is I have limited vision in one eye due to injury. A week ago I received an email to attend Psychological evaluation testing in Moncton on the 24th of this month. I plan to attend to testing regardless just to be on the safe side. Just wondering if anyone has personally or knows someone that has run into this scenario.

Just noticed that Ontario is moving forward with Phase 3, increasing the indoor gathering limit from 10-50 people, now don’t quote me or take anything I say as the truth; this is all speculation. I am getting confident that maybe now we may possibly head to training soon because Phase 3 is good news at this time, but we have to wait until we get an official confirmation from CSC. Thought I spread some positive vibes, I know and feel everyone, we are all waiting patiently to make our dreams come true. Stay strong and stay safe.

Does anyone know what's CSC's plans are if there's a second wave in fall? Are they planning to send everyone home if there's a second wave in the fall? Ontario just got into the third stage... and it would really suck if they sent us home during the second wave before we finished the CTP 3.

I know this section is a bit different from Ontario corrections, but I am having a virtual interview process with Ontario corrections coming up, any tips on the interview or useful guides/books that any of you have used would be great.

Hello,
These questions have been asked many times throughout the thread as I noticed you also asked the same question in the Ontario Correction thread. There is a search bar where you can utilize just for future reference.

A lot of these, you just have to rely on yourself. Be prepared to give scenario examples and know the the job role really well. Insert your life experiences in them and what you have that can apply to as a C.O.

If you are hoping for exact questions being asked, there won't be any in here as this would be a breach.

Just sleep well, try not to be nervous and good luck in the process.

Stay well and safe,
