Anyone having difficulty in certain sections of CTP 2?

I started yesterday and having a bit of issues. It's really interesting though, I'm panicking but with a smile on my face :P
You're probably struggling because you're too smart for the course they give you. It's common to struggle when you are conscientious and keen in CSC. Try to dumb yourself down a bit and your career will be long and fruitful.
Sometimes... you get on here, and just know, you're dealing with "that guy." All your efforts to be, and sound reasonable, are useless. And there are a lot of those guys on blueline.

It is just my curiosity, during CPT stage 3 training at Kingston, will the written test questions be multiple choice questions of short answer questions?
Thanks in advance for any response. :D

I wrote the Situational Judgement test back in April and received confirmation that I passed on the first of May. In the email I received telling me that I passed it said that had to wait to be contacted for an interview. Just wondering what the average wait period has been for others that got an interview. It's been 2 months so just wondering if that is average.

I wrote the SJT back in February, received my results in March and didn't get an interview invite until May. Time lines seem to vary from applicant to applicant. Hope you hear something soon!

P.S : First post here - been lurking for quite some time. Thank you to all who contribute to this forum! I have gotten answers to many of my questions about the application process here.

I have gone through the application process at a rather fast rate. Here is my timeline

Application: Feb 2019
Written Exam: March 2019
References: March 2019
Fingerprints: April 2019
Interview: May 2019
Security Clearance: May 2019
Regions of Interest May 2019
Psych Eval Part 1: May 2019
Psych Eval Part 2: June 2019
Medical: June 2019
CTP 1 completion: June 2019

Upon successful completion of CTP 1, I received the generic email stating that I would be contacted for CTP2/3 based on regional needs. My question is, should I expect to wait a long time for this, as everything else has gone by so quickly? Definitely getting anxious about this, it has only been a week since I completed CTP 1, but I need to know!!

I’ve been waiting since dec 2018. I also chose a specific region which is most likely why I’ve been waiting so long. So I guess it depends which regions you have applied for and the need for staff. I have read this forum from beginning to end and the waiting varies. Some people hear from them really fast and others wait quite a while. Good luck and I hope you hear something soon! That’s a great timeline!

Jeeze, what a fast process! I applied the same time you did but I had to re-schedule my interview and it cost me 6 weeks. Sad to see I could be where you are right now but oh well! I'm so nervous about my interview!

Does anyone have any insight into when the next CTP 3 groups will be running? Looks like there were some in June as well as July - does anyone know if they will continue running on a monthly basis ?

Thanks !!

Sooooooo, how's everyone enjoying CTP 2?
I'm finding it very interesting! I'm trying to get through the assignments as fast as humanly possible (hopefully they're right) so I can spend the rest of the time studying.

Is there anyone so far going to CTP 3 in Kingston? I feel so left out that no one is going with me :(

I am. Starting July 9. :)

Im rather concerned, all has gone well... until reference check. I am an individual with one employer my entire work history... this employer has refused to provide reference.

Application: April 2019
SJT: May 2019
Interview: June 2019
References: 2 days after interview

How big of a deal is this dilemma ?
