How long after submitting the security clearance questionnaire do they call? Do they call every one or only case by case.
Hey DK94, I got a follow up security screening interview last week and it was just under 15 minutes. I can't divulge what they'll ask as that's something that varies between person to person but it is usually to seek more information or clarification from the answers you provided on the questionnaire. Speaking of which, anyone here know if we get a confirmation for passing the psyc or security clearances? Or you just don't hear anything? Thanks guys!

Well done NC!!
How long after you sent in your questionnaire? I had to do some explaining in mine, I'm sure they would need some follow up if it didn't go straight to the trash.

From the time I submitted it in the mail to the time they contacted me was 3 weeks. When did you submit your questionnaire?

So I wrapped up the application process today with my psych interview. Completed ctp1, medicals, finger prints and security questionnaire. Now it's in cscs hands to determine if I'm a suitable candidate.

One question, is ctp2 only offered to those who have passed all of the steps up to that point? For example, if some one has not yet received a passing grade on psych or security, they will not be invited to participate in ctp2.

I want to say yes but everyone is different.. You'll know when your login information doesn't work anymore :P
It would make sense because nothing in CTP 2 is marked online, they check all that stuff in your first few weeks of core plus you have the CTP 2 exam your first week.
Also like to note, if you fail your psych, there's a 2 year deferral.

I'm not sure if this is mentioned anywhere but, at the training facility in Kingston, are accommodations provided or do we have to make our own arrangements? I was under the impression that meal and board was provided but I could be mistaken.

My interview is finished and my references contact on Nov12 and they have not contacted me. I emailed them asking what the delay was and that was over a week ago. Is this normal? Am I still in the process or am I out? So frustrating checking email everyday not knowing if anyone could shed light on this it would be a great relief

It took them a month to let me know that they couldn't get a a hold of my references. Once I ensured my references contacted them things moved fast. The way written references are submitted can me challenging for people who are not technologically adept. One of my references was elderly and believes she submitted it when in fact she didn't. CSC was patient and understanding.

My references 100% replied to them. I talked to them they told me about it and are technically adept. Is there any way to know that I am still in the process?

Hey Clifford, how long has it been since you did your interview again? The longer you don't hear back, the better as they are usually quick to tell you if you've failed within the first week. I could still be wrong but I am basing this on my own experience, as well as this thread :)
I'm sure you'll be fine bud!
